As a long time user of many different aviation gps navigation devices, and now using SD Mobile device, I am disappointed to find I cannot seem to step thro' planned waypoints whilst in flight, either by tapping existing one at top of screen or by a scroll button. I agree with all those that ask for the ability to easily change/select present waypoint whether it be to get information on plog or to navigate direct. To step thro' planned waypoints by tapping existing, as was mentioned earlier would be a great solution so far as I am concerned.
In fact I can't find anyway of changing present waypoint short of deleting unwanted present waypoint in the flight plan itself. Am I missing something ??
I also find the font size too small on the current waypoint display, The small text of selected point gets mixed up with the map detail and is not always readable at a quick glance. It can spoil your whole day to navigate to wrong waypoint without quickly rearealizing the mistake.
I also personally find the flight info text down the side hard to read with a quick glance especially in adverse light conditions. A font size increase here would be helpful as well, even at the expense of a very slightly smaller map display width.
I also would like to see a single button on main display that scrolled between screens, i.e. map to instrument and back,(and maybe to plog screen if ever implemented) so that it is very quick and easy with single tap to change displayed mode. In small aircraft with vibration and turbulence it is very hard to do multiple presses accurately on small menu buttons whilst also keeping control of the aircraft.
In a similar vein although there has been some discussion of keyboard size in another thread I also find the miniature keyboard impossible to use in flight, the Mobile device really does need a full screen type keyboard with enter button similar to that implemented on other gps devices.
Love the SD planning software and integration to Mobile device, as a "system" it is great, if we can just get some of the "human interface" issues resolved it will be a fantastic system.
I look forward to learning more about larger screen version mobile as mentioned on another thread.
Just my 5 cents worth

offered I hope as constructive operational suggestions.
